Article I — Purpose

This Marketing Claims Policy governs the accuracy standards IECC applies to all marketing communications relating to The Ivory Index and associated services. It supplements IECC's obligations under applicable consumer protection and advertising standards law.

Article II — Accuracy Commitments

2.1 Software Capabilities

Marketing materials describe Software capabilities as implemented at the time of publication. IECC commits to updating material capability claims within 30 days of any change that renders a published claim inaccurate.

2.2 No Outcome Guarantees

IECC will not make, and does not authorise third parties to make, claims that The Ivory Index guarantees or materially improves admissions outcomes. Any testimonial or case study referencing outcomes must be accompanied by the disclaimer: "Individual results vary. IECC does not guarantee any admissions, scholarship, or other outcome."

2.3 AI Claims

Claims about AI capabilities are limited to documented, tested functionality. IECC does not claim that its AI outputs are equivalent to human expert advice, that they are free from error, or that they reflect the assessment criteria of any specific institution.

2.4 Privacy Claims

IECC's marketing materials accurately distinguish between Software (local-first, designed not to transmit user data) and website services. Claims about data privacy are qualified to the Software context and do not extend to all website interactions.

Article III — Endorsements & Testimonials

Any testimonials or endorsements in IECC marketing materials reflect genuine User experiences at the time collected. IECC complies with applicable advertising standards requiring disclosure of material connections. Paid or incentivised testimonials will be clearly labelled.

Article IV — Comparative Claims

Any comparison to competitor products will be: (i) based on verifiable, current information; (ii) fair and not misleading; and (iii) limited to objective, material characteristics. IECC will not make claims that demean or misrepresent competitors.

Article V — Corrections

To report a potentially misleading marketing claim, contact legal@imperialecc.com. IECC will review within 10 business days and issue a correction where warranted.
