The Ivory Index is currently provided at zero charge to end Users. Where no fees are collected, no monetary refund is applicable. This Policy governs refund rights in connection with any future paid tiers, commercial licences, or support agreements.
Article II — Paid Services Refund Policy
2.1 Standard Refund Window
For paid services or licences, IECC offers a 14-day refund window from the date of purchase, provided the User has not consumed a material portion of the service. For the avoidance of doubt, "material consumption" means the User has used more than 20% of the included service entitlement as measured by the primary unit specified in the Order Form (e.g., AI evaluation credits, active user-days, or API calls, as applicable). Where the Order Form does not specify a primary unit, consumption is measured by calendar days elapsed as a proportion of the subscription term.
2.2 Non-Refundable Items
Custom development or professional services rendered
Onboarding or implementation services
Any portion of a subscription period already consumed beyond the 14-day window
Enterprise or MSA licences once signed unless otherwise specified in the order form
2.3 Defective Product
Where the Software fails to materially perform its core functions as described in the documentation through no fault of the User, and IECC is unable to remedy the defect within 30 days of written notice, the User may claim a pro-rata refund of fees paid for the affected period.
Article III — Consumer Rights Preservation
Nothing in this Policy limits statutory consumer rights under applicable mandatory law. Where mandatory law grants a right of withdrawal, cancellation, or refund that cannot be contractually waived, such rights are preserved. Users should contact legal@imperialecc.com to exercise any such rights.
Article IV — Refund Process
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to legal@imperialecc.com with: (i) proof of purchase; (ii) description of the basis for the claim; and (iii) account details. IECC will process valid refunds within 14 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method where technically possible.
